Les scènes rajoutés dans le DVD qui sort en novembre:
* More time with the Hobbits including a musical number. Extra scene further underscores the Hobbits sense of isolation and the growing realization that they can't ignore the outside world for much longer.
* Frodo and Sam POV watching the elves going to the "Undying Land".

* When the Hobbits are sleeping, Frodo is awakened by Aragorn's singing of an elvish tune that foreshadow's his relationship with Arwen.
* More at Rivendell with Aragorn.
* More on the departure of the Fellowship from Rivendel.
* More in the Mines before the cave troll fight.
* As the Fellowship leaves, Galadriel gives them each a personalized gift that will end up being critical to their future. Legolas gets a special bow, Sam gets some elvin rope that comes in handy when he faces a giant spider in The Two Towers, and a touching moment between Gimli and Galadriel.
(je comprends pas pourquoi cette scène est pas dans le final cut de la version ciné... Ça va poser problème ensuite.. A moins qu'il y a ait des flashbacks).

Je viens aussi de réaliser un truc... On parle toujours des Ents et de Gollum qu'on va voir dans Two Towers... Et la fin... Vous y avez pensé à la fin????? Il y a Shelob à la fin.... Shelob!!!!!!!!!!
J'en frémis d'avance.... Souvenez-vous avant 75, le requin n'était pas un truc qui terrorisait les foules plus que ça... Puis il y a eu Jaws.....
Après Two Towers, la phobie des araignées, mondiale qu'elle va être.....
Et imaginez la gueule du cliffhanger pour ceux qui ont pas lu le livre à la fin de Two Towers).... Imaginez.... De la même façon que dans certaines scènes de FOTR j'avais peur pour les persos, alors que je savais très bien ce qui allait arriver, je sens que je vais passer tout l'année 2003 à m'inquièter pour Frodo...
