Ça y est... J'ai enfin vu Signs....
Que dire... J'ai jamais peur au ciné (sauf les films de Alejandro Amenábar), et là j'ai bien eu les jetons pour quelques scènes...
Mai en même temps, c'est bourré d'humour.
Mel Gibson, Joachin Phoenix et les enfants (le petit frère de Macaulay Culkin et une petite trop adorable) sont excellents...
C'est du M. Night Shyamalan... Si vous aimez, vous allez aimer, si vous aimez pas, vous allez pas aimer...
Moi j'adore... Sa façon de revisiter les grands thèmes du fantastique à la sauce intimiste, je suis fan...
Et puis c'est super bien écrit et super bien filmé (chaque plan est d'une construction parfois évidente, mais toujours d'un esthétisme trop bon)...

Graham (Mel Gibson) parlant à son fils: You're scaring your sister.
Bo: I'm already scared.
Graham: What should I say?
Merrill: I don't know, be angry!
[They both run outside the house and split up]
Merrill: I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASSES IN!!
Graham: I'M VERY ANGRY!! I am insane with anger! (la scène la plus marrante du film)
[Morgan (le fils) donne de l'eau au chien]
Bo: Don't give him that water, it's dirty!
Morgan: Bo, He licks his own butt, I don't think he will mind.
Merrill (Joachin, il joue le frère de Mel): The geeks were right.
Merrill: This is exactly what the nerds want..
Merrill: Morgan, this crop stuff is just about a bunch of nerds who never had a girlfriend their lives. They're like thirty now. They make up secret codes and analyze Greek mythology and make secret societies where other guys who never had girlfriends can join in. They do stupid crap like this to feel special. It's a scam. Nerds were doin' it twenty five years ago and new nerds are doing it again.
Graham: Its just static, Morgan. Frequency.
[Weird noises come from the baby monitor.]
Morgan: It's a code.
Bo: Why couldn't they get girlfriends?
Tracy Abernathy : I swore 37 times in the last month. I said the 'f-word' a couple of times, but it was mostly 'shit's and 'bastard's. Oh, is the word 'douchebag' a swear?
Graham: I suppose it would depend on the context.
Tracy Abernathy: How about "John you're a douchebag for sleeping with Barbara"?
Graham: It's a swear.
Tracy Abernathy: Oh, well then it's not 37 times it's 71 times
Graham: C'mon, now, you're too old to be doing this. What's wrong with this glass of water?
Bo: It's got stuff floating in it.
Graham: And this one?
Bo: A hair.
Graham: And this one?
Bo: Morgan took a sip and it's got his amoebas in it.
Graham: See this is why we're not watching TV, people become obsessed.
Officer Caroline: Merrill...how's work at the gas station?
Merrill: Stimulating.
Graham: That's ridiculous. How can anyone possibly know that information? What else does it say?
Graham : You just have to ask yourself what kind of person are you. Are you the type that sees signs? Sees miracles? Or do you think that people just get lucky? Maybe there are no coincidences.Merrill: One time, I was at this party... and I was sitting on the couch with Randa McKinning. She was just sitting there, looking beautiful, and staring at me. So, I lean in to kiss her, and I realize I have gum in my mouth. So, I turn to spit it out and put it in a little paper cup that was sitting by the couch. I turn back, and Randa McKinning throws up all over herself. I knew the moment it happened, it was a miracle. I could have been kissing her when she threw up. It would have scarred me for life.
